Macro International Awarded SAMHSA Materials Development and Marketing Support Contract
Macro International announced today that it was awarded a $6.2 million, 5-year contract to continue supporting the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration's (SAMHSA's) Office of Communications (OC) with its communications needs. Macro has been providing publications and media outreach support under the existing Materials Development and Marketing Support (MDMS) contract for the past 5 years.
With the launch of this new contract, Macro will be working shoulder-to-shoulder with OC as it continues its efforts to align sound public health practices with science-based communications and marketing approaches at SAMHSA. As part of this effort, OC is looking at ways to reframe SAMHSA's mission statement, to sharpen its brand, and to effectively present the real impact of SAMHSA's work to its many stakeholders, including policymakers and the American public.
