Fox Chase elected to use both Vericom's ChannelCare for internal audiences and SoundCare for callers who are briefly placed on hold. "We needed a turn-key digital signage platform that could be tailored to accommodate our diverse audiences and venues. We chose Vericom because of their experience serving healthcare and their unique software that enhances our ability to create interesting, attractive, and educational messages in a timely manner," says Julia Goplerud, Senior Director of Regional Marketing, Fox Chase.
Vericom's solutions fill the void of waiting by targeting all audiences with information relevant to where they are within the health system. Messages on ChannelCare monitors in the imaging center are different from messages delivered to staff in break rooms. "We are all working together in the fight against cancer, but the reasons individuals are here are as different as the type of people we serve. Both ChannelCare and SoundCare allow us to create, deliver, and change messages in real-time, in sync with our mission and values. We are also able to tailor the messages so that they are relevant to people wherever they are located, whether on site or at one of our off-campus locations," says Goplerud.
Vericom developed its Vericom Content Management System software that supports ChannelCare digital signage, based on three years of experience at three hospital beta sites at DeKalb Medical Center in Atlanta. This web- based, user-friendly software includes a rich, dynamic library of digital signage content, including high-end 3D animations focusing on health and prevention topics. "We have nearly 20 years of healthcare-only content development experience and know that without targeted and timely content, digital signage will fail. We understand the difficult task healthcare marketers have in creating and updating digital signage content and, all too often, they don't even realize it until their digital signage is in place. Our content library solves this problem for healthcare. And, because we understand the emotional impact of waiting, we are able to help our clients deliver messages that get results, ultimately impacting the goals of their hospital's leadership," says Robert J. Loeb, President and CEO, Vericom.
"Vericom's customer support has been terrific. They have been with us every step of the way from installation to training to going live," says Goplerud.
