ST. PETERSBURG, Fla., Oct. 22 /PRNewswire/ -- Thinking Systems Corporation, recognized by Frost & Sullivan and KLAS for its innovative PACS solutions, and by Thinking Systems' customers for its robust product portfolio of comprehensive solutions designed to support the full spectrum of imaging modalities in a wide range of clinical settings, today announced that the company has installed its ThinkingPACS(TM) solution at the Radiology Institute Imaging Center (RIIC) in Puerto Rico.
RIIC is one of the largest radiology centers in Puerto Rico, providing comprehensive radiology services with modalities including CT, MR, PET-CT, nuclear cardiology, general nuclear medicine, mammography, ultrasound, X-Ray, fluoroscopy, among others.
According to Xiaoyi Wang, co-CEO and co-founder of Thinking Systems, "This ThinkingPACS(TM) implementation provides a uniform environment for radiology, cardiology, and molecular imaging. It provides not only seamless and efficient image management, but also state-of-the-art clinical tools for these modalities." He added, "The streamlined workflow greatly improves communication, shortens patient wait times, and ultimately helps physicians deliver optimal care more efficiently and with better patient outcomes."
"We selected Thinking Systems' ThinkingPACS(TM) solution for its ability to manage image archiving and provide clinical solutions for a wide range of modalities in a busy radiology practice, one of the largest in Puerto Rico," said Armando Bonnet, M.D., Diagnostic Radiologist. "We expect that this implementation will ultimately help us attain our goals for growth and commitment to serving our referring physicians and their patients."
"When we set out to meet RIIC's need for a comprehensive PACS solution that would support the full range of imaging modalities in at the center, Thinking Systems' ThinkingPACS(TM) solution was a natural choice," said Cruz Ruiz, President, at Alpha Biomedical And Diagnostic Corp., Thinking Systems' distributor in Puerto Rico. "This installation will give RIIC a seamless solution to enhance their services for years to come."
"Thinking Systems' product portfolio is unmatched in the industry," added Wang, "We work very closely with our customers and distributors to develop tailored solutions that meet the specific needs of our client's facilities." He added, "For a freestanding imaging center such as RIIC, this is a great advantage for the organization to overcome challenges and deliver efficiencies that contribute to the bottom line."
Wang said, "Thinking Systems will showcase its flagship products - Thinking PACS(TM) and ThinkingRIS(TM) - in (Booth 7121 in Hall A, North Building) at the 94th Annual Meeting Of The Radiological Society Of North America (RSNA), held November 30 through December 5 at McCormick Place in Chicago, IL. Thinking Systems will also debut its new release of web-based ThinkingRIS(TM) unified with its ThinkingPACS(TM) powered by a single database, as well as its integration with international leading third party PACS systems to provide nuclear cardiology, PET-CT fusion, SPECT-CT fusion, and general nuclear medicine solutions to users of these third party PACS."
He added, "New products introduced also include structured reporting for nuclear cardiology and echocardiography, and general nuclear medicine quantification protocols for MUGA, renal, gallbladder, gastric emptying, and lung studies, as well as general ROI analysis tools. Thinking Systems will also showcase its enhanced PACS solutions for nuclear cardiology, PET-CT fusion, SPECT-CT fusion, and general nuclear medicine."
