Medical Nutrition USA, Inc. To Receive 2008 Circle Award From Consultant Dietitians in Health Care Facilities (CD-HCF)

Medical Nutrition USA, Inc (NASDAQ: MDNU) announced today that it has been selected by the Consultant Dietitians in Health Care Facilities (CD-HCF) Awards Committee for the 2008 Circle Award. The award was presented at the American Dietetic Association's Food & Nutrition Conference and Expo in Chicago on October 28th. The Circle Award is the highest award given by CD-HCF to a non-member or organization that has shown distinguished contributions and demonstrated support for the mission and work of CD-HCF. The CD-HCF is dedicated to leading the future of dietetics by strengthening facilities with food, nutrition and management skills that promote quality of life for the people they serve.

The CD-HCF is a Dietetic Practice Group of the American Dietetic Association and a professional-interest group of the ADA. The CD-HCF connects with other ADA members within their area of interest and/or practice. It specializes in long-term care work at a multiple of healthcare facilities as consultants. Generally, smaller nursing homes do not have a full time registered dietitian on staff and use CDs to fill this need.
