Geisinger Health System has selected Central Logic Healthcare Systems's patient transfer center software, ForeFront Transfer, to improve and streamline its patient transfers.
ForeFront Transfer is designed to streamline interfacility patient transfers and facilitate critical transfer information for physicians and hospital administrative personnel. It enables hospital and medical staff to take physician referral calls and correlate patient admissions enabling decisions based on individual patients' needs, doctor availability and the facility's ability to accommodate a new patient, said Central Logic.
Scott Jordan, vice president of Central Logic, said: "With ForeFront installed at Geisinger Health, the Transfer Center will be able to coordinate patient transfers from any location in the hospital group. Being web-enabled will facilitate not only easy data collection, but also complete visibility to senior leadership, no matter where they're located. We are excited to be working with a leader of integrated healthcare systems in Pennsylvania."
