I am very proud to join such a talented and energized team that is dedicated to improving health care throughout the world. We look forward to the many opportunities ahead."
PCTS provides intelligent workflow automation solutions which help health care facilities to streamline patient flow and increase effective capacity through the visualization of patient care progression and the location of critical resources. The company's Amelior(TM) suite of automatic patient and asset tracking software support departmental to enterprise-wide implementations and work with any real-time location technology to capture the location of patients, staff and movable medical equipment. Department-specific workflow algorithms within the software interpret location, movement and interactions between people and equipment to recognize and communicate the real-time status of patient care without requiring manual data entry. Additional intelligence recognizes the significance of events and alerts the appropriate caregivers. The web-based software interfaces with hospital information systems to provide a complete picture of each patient's care progression. Busy caregivers are able to more efficiently anticipate and proactively manage their workflow as a result. PCTS workflow solutions are at work in leading emergency departments and surgical suites across the nation.
