Emergency Medical Services Announces Strategic Relationships With EA Health and Blue Jay Consulting

Emergency Medical Services Corporation (NYSE: EMS) (the "Company") today announced that its EmCare subsidiary has entered into two new relationships to expand its healthcare services offerings to hospitals. EmCare has entered into agreements with EA Health Corporation, a California-based company, and Blue Jay Consulting, a Florida-based firm. EA Health provides on-call specialty coverage and related management services for hospital emergency departments. Blue Jay Consulting provides emergency department consulting services including process improvement and operations assessments, and interim nurse leader staffing and recruiting services.

The new agreements provide for co-marketing of complementary services and programs to facilitate a more complete offering of service solutions to meet increasing requests from hospital clients.
