HEALTH Minister Datuk Dr Chua Soi Lek told the House that 43 health
products out of 895 sold by direct-selling companies were withdrawn from
the market between January and May this year, because the products did
not meet required standards.
Chua said the Ministry also seized a total of 3,922 unregistered health
products during the period.
He said the Drug Control Authority must analyse products from
direct-selling companies before they are sold in the market.
