After careful consideration, the California Center for Advanced Dental Studies' (CCADS) board is excited to announce that Dr. Peter Rinaldi has been appointed as a Mentor Senior Instructor and will be acting as Assistant Program Director, along with Dr. Thomas Dudney, Program Director, when needed. "We are thrilled to have Dr. Rinaldi as part of the team. He absolutely possesses all the qualities we look for. He is a premier clinician and an outstanding teacher," said Dr. Thomas Dudney.
Dr. Rinaldi's selection is the result of a rigorous selection process that includes an in depth look at the doctor's collegiate and post-graduate education, dental practice and overall integrity. In order to be selected, dentists must have completed a minimum of 120 hours and three levels of advanced clinical training from accredited post-graduate programs. "What distinguishes our mentors," comments Garrett Caldwell, President of CCADS, "is their comprehension and use of advanced clinical protocols for veneers including all types of indirect all-ceramic and ceromer composite restorations and their overall commitment to excellence in their practices."
Mentor-Instructors for CCADS have many responsibilities including instructing nationally and internationally at seminars and live patient hands-on programs. However, more important than their clinical duties is their responsibility to the public and to any doctor who seeks assistance or mentoring in the field of cosmetic dentistry.
Dr. Peter Rinaldi, DMD, has more than twenty years of experience in cosmetic dentistry and has placed more than 30,000 porcelain laminate veneers. Dr. Rinaldi also holds the rare distinction of being accredited with the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry. He practices at the Washington Center for Dentistry, along with Dr. Marc Doctors, Dr. Sherman Telis, and Director Dr. Daniel Deutsch in Washington, DC. The Washington Center for Dentistry has been nationally recognized for creating beautiful natural looking smiles and patients worldwide seek out the talents of Dr. Deutsch and his team.
The California Center for Advanced Dental Studies (CCADS) is a not-for-profit organization focused on changing the way postgraduate dental education is offered to dentists. CCADS is led by Program Director, Dr. Thomas Dudney, and has mentors and instructors currently conducting study clubs and clinical programs related to cosmetic dentistry across the USA, Canada and the UK.
