Resurrection Health Care Named One of Nation’s ‘Best Places to Work in Healthcare’
the nation’s 19th Best Place to Work in Healthcare by Modern Healthcare
magazine. The national award recognizes Resurrection’s hospitals, nursing
homes, retirement communities, home health services, behavioral health
programs and other services throughout the
Modern Healthcare’s Best Places to Work program recognizes health care
organizations nationwide that enable employees to perform at their optimum
level to provide patients and customers with the best possible care and
services. To determine the best workplaces, a firm that researches regional
Best Places to Work programs across the country conducted an extensive
selection process of healthcare companies on behalf of Modern Healthcare. Two
hundred and thirty-eight health care companies participated.
The process began in
questionnaire that required detailing Resurrection Health Care’s benefits,
policies and practices, and a confidential satisfaction survey taken by
randomly selected employees to determine Resurrection’s culture, working
environment, training and development opportunities, pay and benefits and
overall employee satisfaction.
Resurrection Health Care is the only
one of the Best Places to Work in Healthcare in addition to being one of only
six companies recognized in the state.
