Joe's Sports & Outdoor In-Store Promotion Raises $18,000 for the Children's Cancer Association

Established in 2002, the Joe's Sports & Outdoor Foundation works to improve the lives of youth in the areas where Joe's stores are located by providing financial support to qualified charitable organizations and community-based programs. Organizations who have received grants in the past include Special Olympics and the Children's Cancer Association. Grants have also funded school athletic field lighting, team uniforms, scouting activities and much more.
Founded in 1995, the Children's Cancer Association is dedicated to
bringing the healing power of compassion, music and friendship to seriously
ill children and their families when they need it most. Fueled by thousands of
supporters and volunteers and available at no cost to families, CCA's award-
winning, innovative programs include the in-hospital Music Rx(R) program, the
Chemo Pal(R) mentor program, the LifeSupport Family Enrichment program, and
the Caring Cabin(R) retreat home on the
