PA Department of Health Revokes Hospital License for Commonwealth Medical Center in Beaver County
Posted on: Friday, 12 December 2008, 16:06 CST
As part of the revocation order, Commonwealth Medical Center is required to secure the building and immediately cover the blue hospital signs on the roadways directing people to the hospital.
The skilled nursing facility on the hospital campus operates under a separate license from the hospital. The facility will remain open until the three residents in the skilled nursing unit are discharged or relocated to another facility.
