AT&T Business Solutions' advanced networking technology supports BCBSA member companies by helping them expand capabilities, improve service and control costs as they increasingly rely on the Internet and private networks to exchange critical information among customers and providers. The company's advanced network services provide real-time access to customer and provider information for call center representatives.
This additional agreement will provide increased flexibility and productivity for the 39 Blue Cross and Blue Shield companies, which collectively provide health care coverage for more than 102 million Americans.
BCBSA's relationship with AT&T Business Solutions has helped it provide greater business momentum to its member companies while providing best-in- class service to its customers. Under this national agreement, Blue Cross and Blue Shield companies will experience greater cost efficiencies and innovative, reliable options for their network services needs.
Through the secure AT&T BusinessDirect(R) portal, BCBSA gains around-the- clock access to real-time information about the performance of its network services and a direct connection to electronic billing and ordering systems.
