Lifeline Vascular Access was created to improve the delivery and coordination of vascular access care to end stage renal disease or (ESRD) patients. Through Lifeline Vascular Access's innovative approach, this area of health care has witnessed significant improvements. Lifeline Vascular Access affiliated physicians have performed over 200,000 procedures to date, with an overall procedure success rate of 97 percent, which significantly exceeds industry benchmarks. According to the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid (CMS), fistulas are the optimal form of vascular access, allowing patients to experience fewer access-related complications, which leads to decreased hospital stays and more successful dialysis treatments.
