Public Health Physician Spent Last 10 Years Helping Implement World Bank HIV/AIDS and Malaria Initiatives
Over his 21 year professional career he has provided technical leadership to the World Bank's landmark Roll Back Malaria initiative and served as the Bank's principal source of technical advice and leadership on malaria programs and policy. Since 2000, he has used his infectious disease expertise and public health technical skills to provide leadership to World Bank HIV/AIDS programs throughout the world. During this time Dr. Osika has earned a stellar reputation as a technical leader and highly effective source of technical and policy support to World Bank-funded HIV/AIDS programs, including programs being implemented under extremely difficult circumstances.
