TechConnect World 2009 Announces January 28th ‘Last Call’ for Speaker-Proposals

More than a Thousand Submissions Already Received for the Largest Cleantechnology, Biotechnology and Nanotechnology Event in the US

CAMBRIDGE, Mass., Jan. 15 /PRNewswire/ — The Nano Science and Technology Institute (NSTI), and the Clean Technology and Sustainable Industries Organization (CTSI), today announced that more than 1,000 submissions have been received for the largest Cleantechnology, Biotechnology and Nanotechnology event in the US, scheduled for May 3-7, at the George R. Brown Convention Center in Houston.

These submissions are currently being vetted by the TechConnect World advisory committee – which includes individuals representing leading universities, companies, and investment firms worldwide. Companies currently confirmed to participate include: Air Products & Chemicals, Applied Materials, BASF, Eastman Kodak Company, General Electric, Genzyme, Honda Motor Corporation, Lockheed Martin, Medtronic, Merck Research Labs, Omron, Sanyo, Siemens and many others.
