With the addition of these intensivists, Aurora Medical Group is establishing a division of critical care medicine to bring new emphasis to the care of patients with acute, life-threatening illnesses or injuries. Other specialists in critical care medicine will be recruited.

Two of the physicians of Midwest Pulmonary and Critical Care Associates,
Drs. Guzzetta and Plumb, are among the intensivists who work at the Aurora
eICU Care command center on
