Family Research Council to Deliver Thousands of Petitions to Congressman Obey’s Office

WASHINGTON, Jan. 22 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ — Tomorrow Family Research Council will deliver a petition with 45,000 signatures to Congressman David Obey’s (D-WI) offices in Washington, D.C., and his Wisconsin district, urging him to use his position as chairman of the House Appropriations Committee to ensure that taxpayers are not forced to pay for abortion on demand.

The House Appropriations Committee plays a key role in deciding the fate of 20 laws that ensure that U.S. taxpayers are not forced to hand over their hard-earned dollars to pay for and promote abortion on demand.
