The first Sunflower Soiree had a crowd of more than 400 people and was named the "2008 Best New Event of the Year" by The Plain Dealer. This year guests will enjoy an evening of music and bowling, silent & live auctions with fabulous items, open bar and heavy hors d'oeuvres. Dress attire for the event casual chic.
With a mission of funding global research into the causes, prevention,
treatments and cure for childhood brain tumors known as gliomas, Prayers From
Maria - Children's Glioma Cancer Foundation, was founded in 2006 by Ed and
In addition to a dedicated volunteer base, Prayers From Maria - Children's
Glioma Cancer Foundation has a Medical Board that consists of highly venerable
doctors who are committed to eradicating the childhood disease. Because
gliomas are grossly under funded, the McNamara family is diligently working to
make a difference by raising public awareness and bringing hope to children
