Maryland Lawyer Steve Nolan Advocates for Lung Health as National Board Chair of the American Lung Association

A major emphasis of his chairmanship has been to build on the American Lung Association's efforts to eliminate lung health disparities among minority populations. Mr. Nolan has also worked to challenge the Environmental Protection Agency's (EPA) weakening ozone standards, and he has represented the Lung Association at two world health conferences in

Mr. Nolan's service to the Lung Association in addition to his years of other community and pro bono work has been recognized by the Maryland Bar Foundation with its Legal Excellence Award for the Advancement of Public Service Responsibility. A past president of the Baltimore County Bar Association, Mr. Nolan previously received the Foundation's Legal Excellence Award for the Advancement of the Rights of the Disadvantaged.
