University of Louisville and Jewish Hospital to Announce Medical First

LOUISVILLE, Ky., Feb. 10 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- A news conference to announce the first cardiac stem cell clinical trial in the world, to be conducted at UofL and Jewish Hospital will be held at 9 a.m. EST, Wednesday, Feb. 11. The location will be the Abell Administration Center second floor lobby, 323 E. Chestnut St. on the UofL Health Sciences Campus.

Speakers will include UofL President James Ramsey; Jewish Hospital & St. Mary's HealthCare President and CEO Robert Shircliff; Roberto Bolli, Jewish Hospital Heart and Lung Institute distinguished chair in cardiology and Mark Slaughter, chief of the Division of Thoracic and Cardiovascular Surgery at UofL.
