Landacorp, a SHPS company, today announced an agreement with Inland Empire Health Plan (IEHP) of San Bernardino, Calif. to implement Landacorp's maxMC medical management software. IEHP has contracted for the maxMC modules for Utilization Management, Case Management, and Disease Management, as well as Landacorp's powerful rules-based processing tool kit and report writer. IEHP will also implement interfaces to its member, provider and claims systems, and has contracted for Landacorp's soon-to-be-released user-oriented data management, extract and analysis application.
In operation since 1996, Inland Empire Health Plan serves over 290,000 people in San Bernardino and Riverside Counties in the Medicaid (Medi-Cal), Healthy Families and Healthy Kids Programs. Working in close partnership with state and county governments, IEHP is committed to the health and wellness of its members, as evidenced by their comprehensive wellness programs.
"We are very excited about implementing Landacorp's software," said Dr. Bradley Gilbert, IEHP's Chief Medical Officer. "We believe that it will enhance our ability to provide quality care to our members."
Landacorp's maxMC software simplifies medical management by placing the member at the center of all activities as it automates and supports complex healthcare processes, including case management and disease management. As a result, managed care organizations are able to administer their plans more efficiently and more easily deliver a high quality, cost-effective continuum of care for their members while minimizing risk.
