Hospice of Philadelphia Medical Director, Deborah Way, MD, Earns Certification from the American Board of Internal Medicine

PHILADELPHIA, Feb. 25 /PRNewswire/ -- Deborah Way, MD, of The Visiting Nurse Association of Greater Philadelphia (VNA) has successfully earned her Board Certification in hospice and palliative medicine from the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM). Dr. Way is the medical director of VNA's Hospice of Philadelphia which provides hospice care for both adult and pediatric patients living in the Greater Philadelphia region.

ABIM works to enhance the quality of health care by certifying internists and subspecialists who demonstrate the knowledge, skills and attitudes essential for excellent patient care.

In addition to her primary duties with the Hospice of Philadelphia, Dr. Way is a staff physician at Jeanes Hospital and a member of the Pennsylvania Medical Directors Association where she serves on their annual meeting curriculum committee. Dr. Way joined the VNA in 2008.
