Libyan Aid Tests 50-Bed BLU-MED Deployable Field Hospital
In conjunction with the training program a short exercise was performed along with a ribbon-cutting ceremony and celebration. Participants included the Coordinator of the People leaderships in Benghazi, the Secretary of the People’s Committee of the University of Garyounis-Benghazi, and Director of Security in Benghazi. The President of the National Safety Agency welcomed attendees and thanked all organizations and individuals contributing to the success of this program. Dr. Mohamed Saad Embark, former head of Libyan Aid who inspired and directed the mobile hospital effort, provided a tour of the facility for attending dignitaries.
