Impac Software and BioImagene Develop Workflow Solution for Digital Pathology and the Laboratory Information Systems

Impac's PowerPath(R) AP LIS to Interface with BioImagene's Virtuoso(TM) Digital Pathology Solution

SUNNYVALE and CUPERTINO, Calif., March 6 /PRNewswire/ -- Impac Software, part of the Elekta Group and leading provider of software solutions for anatomic pathology (AP) laboratories, and BioImagene, provider of innovative digital pathology solutions, today announced the development of an interface between PowerPath(R), Impac Software's AP laboratory information system (LIS), and Virtuoso(TM), BioImagene's digital pathology solution. The new interface provides an optimized workflow for digital slide imaging and analysis, case management and reporting.
