Blue Highway Selects Invention Machine Goldfire to Fuel Product Pipeline and Sustain Breakthrough Innovation

Blue Highway will also use Invention Machine's Goldfire software platform to design eco-friendly products to help Welch Allyn further expand its European presence. One of the projects is identifying material replacement for Welch Allyn's 3.5 V Diagnostic Otoscopes disposable ear specula. Otoscope is an instrument for examining the interior of the ear and doctors dispose the plastic ear speculums after examining each patient. Blue Highway is using Goldfire to investigate the use of glycerol-based biopolymer to design bio-degradable ear specula.
