Sheraton Dallas Hotel Provides Accommodations for Families Visiting Children’s Medical Center

DALLAS, March 31 /PRNewswire/ — The Sheraton Dallas Hotel announced recently that it has joined forces with Children’s Medical Center to provide much-needed accommodations for the growing number of visiting families who have children being cared for at the hospital. In addition, the hotel will provide various in-kind items to the hospital throughout the year, as well as volunteer support.

“Children’s is a phenomenal institution with a standard of care unlike no other,” said Ray Hammer, general manager of the hotel. “The Sheraton Dallas Hotel wanted to support the hospital in ways that directly benefit the children being treated and their families, so being able to offer accommodations for qualified, visiting families are one way to help the hospital fulfill a tremendous need.”

As the largest hotel in Dallas, the hotel prides itself on being an active community participant. In addition to this new effort with Children’s, the hotel has also developed a partnership with The Bridge, Dallas’ newest homeless assistance center, and continues with its plans to cultivate partnerships with other community organizations in order to address civic issues and stimulate economic growth, tourism and development.
