iVu Imaging Selects BancTec's Multi-Vendor Services Group as Exclusive Service Provider for Intelligent Volumetric Ultrasound Equipment

DALLAS, March 31 /PRNewswire/ -- BancTec, a global provider of advanced, high-volume, document and payment processing solutions and services, today announced that it has signed an exclusive service provider agreement with iVu Imaging, a medical device company focused on the early detection of cancer and other disease states. This agreement opens another new market for BancTec's growing Multi-Vendor Services Group.

As the exclusive service provider for iVu, BancTec will deliver installation, maintenance and break/fix support. The imaging devices, which are capable of rapid 3D analysis of the human body for the earlier detection of numerous abnormal anatomical features and diseases, are typically sold to hospitals, health clinics and large doctor practices. The initial service agreement covers only the U.S. market.
