Pacific Partners Management Services, Inc. (PPMSI) Terminates IPA Development Agreement With Sequoia Hospital

Pacific Partners Management Services, Inc. (PPMSI) today announced they have terminated their independent practice association (IPA) development agreement with Sequoia Hospital, a Catholic Healthcare West (CHW) hospital in Redwood City, CA, effective July 31, 2005.
Says PPMSI chief executive Larry Bonham, MD, "We're terminating our agreement with Sequoia Hospital because we've determined their long term plans are no longer in the best interest of PPMSI or our clients."
PPMSI and Sequoia Hospital have been working together since April 2004, to develop a physician IPA network in Redwood City.
PPMSI, a division of Santa Clara County Individual Practice Association (SCCIPA), provides Web-based management services to more than 1600 physicians in both SCCIPA and Affinity Medical Group with over 150,000 HMO and Medicare Advantage members in Aetna, Blue Cross CaliforniaCare, Blue Shield, CIGNA, Health Net, PacifiCare, Seniority Plus and Secure Horizons.
