Several small appliances have been donated to Women and Children's Hospital by employees of Praxair Corp., with help from Rosa's Home Store.
The donated appliances will be available to the families of patients admitted to the hospital, officials said. Included are microwave ovens, coffeepots and portable DVD players.
Ted Dongher, vice president of engineering and supply systems of Praxair, is a member of the hospital foundation's board of directors. Team Praxair also supports the hospital by providing volunteers and sponsoring two annual events: the Festival of Trees and the Golf Tournament Auction.
