YWCA USA Elects New National Leadership

WASHINGTON, May 12 /PRNewswire/ — The YWCA USA Annual General Assembly elected new officers and members of its national board of directors, called the National Coordinating Board, during its recent 2009 National Conference in Washington, D.C.

New officers include:

  • Chair: Debra Stock, Executive Director of YWCA York, Pennsylvania
  • Vice Chair: Jeanette Castellanos-Butt, Associate Director of YWCA Greater Chicago, Illinois
  • Secretary: Yvonne Crow, former Board President of YWCA Kansas City, Kansas
  • Treasurer: Asel Mukeyeva, Board Member of YWCA Topeka, Kansas

Newly elected Board members are:

  • Felicia Collins-Correia, Executive Director of YWCA Tulsa, Oklahoma
  • Carol L. Green, Executive Director of YWCA Salem, Oregon
  • Rebecca Hall, Executive Director of YWCA Lawrence, Massachusetts
  • Janet James, Board Member of YWCA Charleston, West Virginia
  • Janet Marcotte, Executive Director of YWCA Tucson, Arizona
  • Chaneta Brooks Montoban, Board Member of YWCA Delaware
  • Lois Cook Steele, Volunteer and retired Executive Director of YWCA Lower Cape Fear, North Carolina
  • Mary Wertzberger, Board President of YWCA Marshalltown, Iowa
