American Acne & Rosacea Society Announces Acne Awareness Month – June 2009

HAMPTON, N.H., May 21 /PRNewswire/ — The American Acne & Rosacea Society (AARS) recently announced the establishment of National Acne Awareness Month which will occur in June 2009. At the 4th Annual Meeting of the AARS, James Q. Del Rosso, DO, President, stated that National Acne Awareness Month is an important opportunity to educate healthcare providers concerning the treatment of acne and to generate awareness for this disease which affects over 17 million Americans.

Throughout the month of June, the AARS will sponsor a series of live multi-media professional education activities to encourage US based healthcare providers to interact and exchange information with AARS experts. Webinar participants will receive AMA PRA Category 1 Credit(TM) for each webinar. The following leading research dermatologists will conduct the respective webinars:
