1st Class Kids Host Miniature Golf Tournament to Raise Money in Support of Continued Obesity Research

DALLAS, June 4 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- The following was released today by 1st Class Kids:

WHAT: 36 Hole Miniature Golf Tournament to raise money in support of continued obesity research and promoting awareness throughout North Texas. This event filled with TopGolf Skills Challenges, game play, live entertainment, information and lunch will be served, all to support the need to raise awareness about childhood obesity. Additionally, there will be entertainment, raffles, silent auction items, and snacks. Information about signs and symptoms, as well as diagnosis and tips to live better with obesity will be available at no charge to everyone.

WHY: Obesity is a major problem nationwide. North Texas area has over 3 million children who struggle with nutritional challenges. Our programs help families overcome childhood obesity. This event will help us raise needed funds for us to work with inner city children. 1st Class Kids' is meeting this challenge head-on with our Food Literacy and Kitchen Safety/Injury Prevention programs called "Chefsville-Kids."

WHEN: SATURDAY, JUNE 6, 2009 10:00 AM - 2:00 PM

Registration begins at 10:00 AM
