Sean Hurley Joins Ameritox as Vice President for Insurance and Managed Care Contracting

Hurley's career spans more than two decades. From his service as a Captain in the U.S. Army, he began in healthcare at Abbott Laboratories as a hospital representative. There, he honed his skills for working with P&T Committees and quickly moved into managed care sales. For the next 18 years, he continued in progressively senior positions at leading organizations in the pharmaceutical, biotech and laboratory industries including Quest Diagnostics and Roche Laboratories.
During his tenure with Novo Nordisk (2001-2008), Hurley's success in sales growth and work with payors prompted three promotions in less than seven years. As Novo Nordisk's Associate VP of Managed Markets, Sean was instrumental in building a team that was ranked as one of the Top 3 organizations for the past five years, as reported by the Health Industry Research Center (HIRC).
