Take Shape For Life Expecting Record Attendance at 2009 National Convention

OWINGS MILLS, Md., June 15 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Take Shape For Life, the personal coaching division of Medifast, Inc. (NYSE: MED), is expecting a record number of independent Health Coaches at its annual National Convention. The Take Shape For Life National Convention 2009 will be held at The Phoenician in Scottsdale, AZ from July 9th to July 11th.

The anticipated record attendance of 1,200 Take Shape For Life Health Coaches represents a 60 percent increase from the 750 in attendance in 2008. National Convention is an exciting opportunity for Health Coaches to attend workshops and receive education on the latest Take Shape For Life training materials. This allows coaches to better support their clients as they guide them on their journey to achieve long-term optimal health.
