CardioDynamics to Participate in National Health Care Day of Service on June 27th

Free hypertension testing with proprietary ICG and education to those in need

SAN DIEGO, June 17 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- CardioDynamics (Nasdaq: CDIC), the innovator and leader of BioZ(R) Impedance Cardiography (ICG) technology, today announced it will participate in National Health Care Day of Service on Saturday, June 27, 2009, by providing free high blood pressure (also known as hypertension) testing utilizing its proprietary ICG technology.

CardioDynamics, in conjunction with the Association for Innovative Cardiovascular Advancements (AICA), La Maestra Family Clinic, and Neighborhood House Association (NHA), will participate in hypertension wellness screening clinics at two locations in the City of San Diego: La Maestra Family Clinic at 4185 Fairmont Avenue and Neighborhood House Association at 841 South 41st Street. Both areas have populations with the genetic propensity for heart disease. CDIC will have representatives on site equipped with its ICG BioZ Dx(R) monitors to provide free testing and offer educational materials about hypertension and the ICG test. Testing and education will be offered from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm. People suffering from high blood pressure, shortness of breath, heart failure, or who are taking cardiac drugs can benefit from the ICG test as it provides additional clinical information for physicians to make informed decisions about a patient's drug therapy.
