Arcadian Management Services Names CEO Robert Fahlman as Chairman of the Board

OAKLAND, Calif., June 19 /PRNewswire/ -- Arcadian Health, a leading provider of Medicare Advantage health plans as well as administrative infrastructure and management services to health care provider groups, hospitals and health plans, announced today that Chief Executive Officer Robert Fahlman has been elected as the Chairman of the Board of Arcadian Management Services, Inc. Effective immediately, Fahlman will assume the role of Chairman of the Board, filling the vacancy created by the passing of Founder, Executive Chairman and Chief Medical Officer, John H. Austin, M.D., on May 29, 2009.

Before Paradigm, he served as chief operating officer at eHealth, where he was a key executive in growing the company to be the leading online source of health insurance products for individuals and small businesses. He has also held multiple executive positions with companies in the health care industry, many of which he helped take public, including Omni Healthcare, Healtheon, TakeCare and FHP Healthcare. With over 25 years of experience, Mr. Fahlman brings a proven record of growing companies with a critical focus on operational excellence. Mr. Fahlman holds a B.S. in Business Administration from Portland State University.
