The three incoming board members were all previous members of CAP's Fellows Program, wherein selected CAP members representing a variety of practice specialties, geographic settings, and experiences are invited to take part in different committee meetings each month. The goal of the Fellows Program is to prepare CAP members to assume expanded leadership roles and to ensure that CAP will always be a physician-driven organization, prepared to handle new and emerging issues in the medical liability arena.
