UICI Announces Hiring of Michael A. Colliflower As Senior Vice President and General Counsel - Insurance Operations

NORTH RICHLAND HILLS, Texas, July 12 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- UICI , a leading provider of affordable health insurance, announced today that Michael A. Colliflower has joined the Company as Senior Vice President and General Counsel - Insurance Operations.
Prior to joining UICI, Mr. Colliflower served as Senior Vice President and Chief Insurance Counsel for the insurance subsidiaries of Universal American Financial Corp. From August 1996 until March 2002, Mr. Colliflower was Vice President - Legal and Chief Compliance Officer of the Conseco Companies. Mr. Colliflower was Chairman of the Compliance Section of the American Council of Life Insurers in 1998-1999. He also served a term as Chairman of the ACLI Market Conduct Committee. Mr. Colliflower received his BBA, cum laude, in 1976 from St. John Fisher College (Rochester, NY) and his J.D. from Wake Forest University in 1979.
