Red Cross Appoints Peggy Dyer as Chief Marketing Officer

New CMO Brings Corporate Marketing Experience to Red Cross Mission
WASHINGTON, July 23 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- The American Red Cross has appointed Peggy Dyer as Chief Marketing Officer (CMO), a new position overseeing the development and execution of marketing strategy for the 128-year-old nonprofit. Dyer, who is a leader in the marketing field, possesses a wealth of knowledge and expertise in strategic and segment marketing, market intelligence, marketing management and marketing communications.

Dyer has an impressive track record of representing well-known companies, including Citigroup, Sara Lee Corporation and the Quaker Oats Company. Most recently, Peggy spent 10 years with the Allstate Insurance Company, where she oversaw marketing strategy and program management across multiple lines of business for the insurance firm's 13,000 agencies, call centers and the Internet. Dyer also helped the insurance giant transform its consumer strategy and operations and developed successful new products to meet auto and homeowner insurance buyers' needs.
