Delaying Health Care Reform is U-N-A-C-C-E-P-T-A-B-L-E!

WASHINGTON, July 27 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ --The Enough Is Enough Campaign for Health Care Reform will hold three (3) rallies this week to urge Congress to pass comprehensive health care reform. Concerned that the health care reform debate is being stalled because of partisanship and political infighting, the campaign seeks to give voice to the millions of uninsured and underinsured Americans who suffer daily because of escalating health care costs and sub-standard medical care.
According to Rev. Delman L. Coates, Ph.D., rally organizer, "It is a tragedy that in America over 45 million of our fellow citizens are either uninsured or underinsured. As a nation, we should not settle for a status quo health care system that forces so many of our fellow Americans, seniors, families, and children, to choose between food and medicine. Partisanship killed this issue before, but the American people will not allow this to happen again. We elected this President and this Congress to reform the health care system, and we are not going to allow this issue to devolve into partisan rancor. We want our elected officials in Congress to give all Americans the same kind of health care coverage that we give them. Let's be clear. This issue is not about a lack of resources, it's about a lack of will. This can be done, and now is the time."

Tuesday, July 28, 2009, outside the Republican National Committee Headquarters, 310 First Street, S.E., Washington, D.C. 20003, 11:30AM-1:30PM.
Wednesday, July 29, 2009, outside the Democratic National Committee Headquarters, 430 S. Capitol Street, S.E., Washington, DC 20003, 11:30AM-1:30PM.
Thursday, July 30, 2009, outside the Rayburn House Office Building, Independence Avenue and South Capitol Street, S.E. Washington, DC 20003, 11:30AM-1:30PM.
A press conference will be held at the site of each rally at 12:45PM. The campaign is also planning to hold future rallies should Congress go into their recess without a meaningful agreement on healthcare reform.
