Johnson City Medical Center Saves $550,000 with Smart Square(R)

JOHNSON CITY, Tenn., Aug. 18 /PRNewswire/ -- Johnson City Medical Center (JCMC), the 488 bed, Magnet-designated flagship hospital of Mountain States Health Alliance (MSHA), has seen dramatic savings in a slumping economy as a result of Smart Square, the enterprise scheduling software from Avantas.

One year after going live with Smart Square, JCMC has realized a savings of nearly $550,000 associated with overtime and external agency usage.
