China Kangtai Cactus Biotech to Attend Rodman & Renshaw Conference and Meet with Investors in September

HARBIN, China, Aug. 24 /PRNewswire-Asia-FirstCall/ -- China Kangtai Cactus Biotech, Inc. (OTC Bulletin Board: CKGT), a vertically integrated grower, developer, manufacturer, and marketer of a variety of cactus-based products in China, announced today that senior members of the company's management team will attend investor conference and meet with U.S. investors in September 2009.

The company will present at the Rodman & Renshaw conference from September 9-11, 2009 in New York.

CEO Jinjiang Wang will then meet with institutions from September 14-18, 2009 in New York and Los Angeles. It will be his first visit to the U.S. since the company went public in 2005.

Wang said, "We have been very pleased with the support from American investors. Our company is growing at an excellent rate as Chinese consumers increasingly accept the value of our cactus products. Revenue for the second quarter of 2009 increased 30% to $6.5 million from $5.0 million in the second quarter of 2008. Diluted earnings per share for the quarter was $0.07 based on a net income of $1.4 million, compared to a net income of $1.0 million or $0.06 diluted EPS last year.
