DETROIT, Sept. 18 /PRNewswire/ -- Prostate cancer is the most common type of cancer found in American men, other than skin cancer. It is also the second leading cause of cancer death in men.
But research shows that men who have their cancer detected early through an annual screening have higher survival rates.

The screening will consist of a PSA blood test and a digital rectal exam.
Henry Ford will hold free screenings 8 a.m. - 3 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 23 at Henry Ford Hospital, 2799 W. Grand Blvd.
Appointments are required. To schedule an appointment, call (313) 916.2062.
