Farmington Hills Plastic Surgeon Notes More Patients are Recycling or Going Green With Their Own Fat

September 24, 2009

FARMINGTON HILLS, Mich., Sept. 24 /PRNewswire/ — A prominent Farmington Hills plastic surgeon notes that more patients are deciding to recycle their own fat for buttocks enhancement.

Dr. Michelle Hardaway, owner of the Aesthetic Plastic Surgery and Laser Center, explained that after removing fat from unwanted areas by liposuction, she then uses the patients’ own fat to enhance their buttocks.

“The process is much safer and reduces the risk of infection from silicone buttocks implants, or complications of having foreign material injected,” said Dr. Hardaway.

After performing liposuction, the liquefied fat is separated from the solid fat. Only the solid fat is injected into the buttocks.

“The use of the patients’ fat also gives the buttocks a more natural look than the one achieved with foreign material,” she said.

Those wishing more information on the procedure may call Dr. Hardaway’s office at 248-855-6030. www.michellehardawaymd.com
