CVS Caremark Celebrates Outstanding Pharmacy Care to Patients During American Pharmacists Month in October

WOONSOCKET, R.I., Oct. 1 /PRNewswire/ -- CVS Caremark announced today that it will celebrate American Pharmacists Month in October by recognizing its outstanding pharmacy teams. The Company employs about 25,000 pharmacists in its 7,000 retail stores, mail service pharmacies and specialty pharmacies across 44 states and Washington DC.

CVS Caremark pharmacists are dedicated to improving the lives of their patients. American Pharmacists Month is an important reminder of the pharmacist's role in patient care by providing counseling for patients and their families in all aspects of pharmacy health care including the importance of medication adherence, the use of generics and medication management.
