Dynatronics Appoints Douglas Sampson as Vice President of Production and Research & Development

SALT LAKE CITY, Oct. 7 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Dynatronics Corporation (Nasdaq: DYNT) today announced the appointment of Douglas G. Sampson as its new vice president of production and research and development, replacing Ronald Hatch, who has retired.

"His breadth of experience will provide valuable expertise to our manufacturing operation as well as our research and development efforts here at Dynatronics. Doug is an effective leader who has received several awards from consumers for generating quality products."
Mr. Sampson, 55, worked for Philips for 29 years. His positions included executive and management responsibilities in various Philips subsidiaries in Asia and the United States. From 2002 to 2007, he was country manager and managing director of NXP Semiconductor, Philips Semiconductor Thailand, where he was primarily responsible for all aspects of the manufacturing and sales operations of that subsidiary. Most recently, from 2007 to 2008, he served as vice president of outsourced manufacturing for Fairchild Semiconductors in Singapore.
Mr. Sampson earned an executive Master of Business Administration degree from the University of New Mexico, Anderson School of Management. He also holds a Bachelor of Science degree in electronics engineering technology from Brigham Young University, and an Associates degree in electronics engineering technology from Brigham Young University Idaho (formerly Ricks College).
