Saks Fifth Avenue Hosts Annual KEY TO THE CURE Shopping Event October 15-18 Featuring Limited Edition T-Shirt Modeled By Heidi Klum and Designed By Michael Kors, Now Available

NEW YORK, Oct. 13 /PRNewswire/ -- Saks Fifth Avenue's limited edition T-shirt created by celebrated designer Michael Kors exclusively to benefit KEY TO THE CURE is now available at Saks Fifth Avenue stores, Saks Fifth Avenue OFF 5TH stores and on saks.com. The shirt retails for $40 with over 80% of the proceeds from each shirt sold going to local charity partners.

Heidi Klum is the ambassador for Saks Fifth Avenue's 2009 KEY TO THE CURE campaign and models the t-shirt in all marketing collateral and in a national public service announcement placed in major fashion and lifestyle magazines in September and October.
Saks Fifth Avenue's charity shopping weekend will take place October 15 to 18 at all Saks stores nationwide, all Saks Fifth Avenue OFF 5TH stores and through saks.com. Saks will donate 2% of sales up to $250,000 from the shopping weekend to local and national women's cancer organizations and research centers. Saks will also make an additional donation of $500,000 to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation, the partnering organization for Saks Fifth Avenue's 2009 campaign.
In the 11 years since the inception of the Saks Fifth Avenue charity shopping weekend, the company, together with its vendors and partners, has raised more than $32 million for cancer research.
