FQHC Stigler Health and Wellness Center Chooses Sage Intergy CHC to Meet Unique Reporting Requirements

TAMPA, Fla., Oct. 20 /PRNewswire/ -- Six federally qualified health centers (FQHC) - including Stigler Health and Wellness Center (Stigler) in Oklahoma - have made the switch to Sage Intergy CHC since July. Stigler and several other sites also chose Sage Intergy EHR for a fully integrated health center management and electronic health records system that handles the complex reporting needs of the FQHC environment and can help these centers qualify for EHR stimulus incentive funds.
"Being an FQHC comes with many challenges that a typical private practice doesn't face," said Teresa Huggins, CEO, Stigler Health and Wellness Center. "Some of those challenges include unique reporting requirements for clinical and financial data. In addition to reporting requirements, FQHCs must maintain financial solvency while expanding access to care - including to people who have no insurance. We needed a powerful tool that would help us maximize our fiscal performance and give us innovative ways to optimize our patient's care needs."
Ms. Huggins continued, "We previously implemented an EHR system, but it wasn't sufficient for the reporting purposes of an FQHC. We began researching systems which would fit our needs best and decided on Sage Intergy EHR. It fit our needs better than the other systems we considered. We expect to improve chronic disease management, put greater emphasis on preventive medicine, and adapt to fiscal and healthcare trends more rapidly with Sage Intergy CHC and Sage Intergy EHR."
"The FQHC community is playing a vital role in the transformation of our healthcare system," said Lindy Benton, Chief Operating Officer, Sage Software Healthcare, LLC. "We're proud that so many FQHC groups are choosing Sage Intergy CHC and Sage Intergy EHR to help them optimize their patient experience and improve access to care for all. We value our partnerships with Stigler Health and Wellness and the FQHC community as a whole."
