Lakeside Hospital Becomes Tulane-Lakeside Hospital After Merging of Services

Lakeside Hospital became Tulane-Lakeside Hospital after merging its maternity services with Tulane University Hospital and Clinic. The partnership, planned for 18 months, will expand Tulane Hospital's services into Jefferson Parish.
Lakeside will continue offering existing services. Tulane Hospital has transferred its labor and delivery services to the Lakeside Hospital campus. Lakeside Hospital has delivered more than 90,000 newborns since opening in 1964. (Copyright 2005 Dolan Media Newswires)
